Weight Loss can be addressed by Hypnotherapy.
Each individual has a unique journey of weight and the treatments given must be attuned to the individual need. It is not the case that one format suits everyone.
Hypnotherapy can give motivation and purpose to a weight loss programme and is a great help in a situation where the person involved needs all the help and support possible.

Often we need to probe the past to discover what started a pattern of weight gain and overeating. This may mean going back a long way into someones life to see what triggered the problem and how we can resolve it.

Help is given in Downham Hypnotherapy with diet and this can be discussed and a detailed plan of action agreed with the Client. We do not weigh clients unless they specifically ask for this to be done.
Its surprising how many people who are overweight are in denial about how much food they eat. Secret bingeing can be a contributary factor and comfort eating is very common.
Hypnotherapy attempts to address both the surface and the underlying issues with the weight and its surprising how effective this can be.

Unfortunately there is no quick fix with weight. To lose weight takes a long time and it may be that patience and application need to be your key objectives.

You may need to be seen over a six month period or longer depending on how much weight you have to lose. Usually to start with you would come in once a fortnight and then downgrade to lesser visits depending on your success.
Its a good idea to combine the hypnotherapy with the support of a weight loss group as the outcome tends to be very successful when this strategy is adopted.
